Licenses
Burdett & Son can provide you with any hunting or fishing license and endorsements required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife.
We also offer the Hunter Education course in the fall.
Every hunter
(including out-of-state hunters) born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, must
successfully complete a Hunter Education Training Course. Minimum age of
certification is 9 years of age.
In the summer a special one week Hunter Education Safety camp is offered for young hunters, ages 9 to 17. This camp is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Campers complete the requirements for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunter Safety course with a more "hands-on" approach which includes:
A day at the shooting
range, time on a hunter's skills trail, guest speakers with
